“Öko-Innovationen mit Biomasse” am 20./ 21. März 2019 in Papenburg

Erneut wies der Weltklimarat (IPCC) auf die drastischen Folgen einer globalen Erwärmung hin. Die weltweiten Aktivitäten zur Treibhausgasminderung müssen verstärkt und eine Umkehr in der Weltwirtschaft herbeigeführt werden. Umso größer ist der Handlungsbedarf, die globalen und nationalen Klimaschutzziele bis 2050 zu erreichen. Hierfür spielen nachhaltige und umweltfreundliche Produkte und Verfahren auf der Basis von Biomasse und Reststoffen eine zentrale Rolle. Sie bieten Chancen für Unternehmen und Gesellschaft.

Vor diesem Hintergrund fördert die internationale Netzwerkveranstaltung den Austausch von Kenntnissen zur Bioökonomie im Non Food-Sektor und diskutiert innovative Lösungsansätze. Vorgestellt werden aktuelle Erkenntnisse aus Forschung und Praxis sowie erfolgreiche Beispiele für eine effiziente stoffliche und energetische Nutzung von Biomasse und Reststoffen im Sinne einer Kreislaufwirtschaft. Unternehmen präsentieren neue Produktentwicklungen.

Die Veranstaltungsreihe findet im zweijährigen Turnus bereits zum sechsten Mal statt. Zum Kongress im kommenden März werden über 40 Referenten/innen aus neun Nationen erwartet.

Der internationale Kongress “Öko-Innovationen mit Biomasse” findet am 20./ 21. März 2019 im Hotel „Alte Werft“ in Papenburg statt.

Unternehmen, Kenntnisinstitute und Forschungseinrichtungen sind herzlich eingeladen, Poster einzureichen oder sich als Aussteller zu präsentieren. Sprechen Sie uns gerne an.

Congress announcement:

„Eco-Innovations from Biomass“, March 20th/ 21st 2019 in Papenburg, Germany

The Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) has once more pointed out the dramatic consequences of global warming. There is indeed an urgent need for action in order to achieve the global and national climate protection targets by 2050. We need to further develop strategies to reduce resource consumption, strengthen biodiversity and decrease environmental pollution at the European and national level.

The implementation of these strategies concerns all economic sectors. Sustainable and eco-friendly products and processes based on biomass and residues play a central role in this context and offer at the same time new opportunities for companies and our society.

The international congress provides an excellent platform for networking and promotes the exchange of knowledge about bioeconomy in the non-food sector. There will be presentations on current findings from research and practice as well as on successful examples of efficient material utilization and energy recovery of biomass and residues. Presentations of innovative product and product developments by different companies will be part of the congress

The event is carried out in Lower Saxony, Germany, bi-annually. We are expecting more than 40 speakers from nine nations.

The international congress “Eco-innovations from biomass” takes place March 20th / 21st 2019 at the hotel “Alte Werft” in Papenburg, Germany.
