Get the Best of Both Worlds:
The Convenience of Online Trainings Meets the Interaction of Live Events

✓ Attend from wherever you are
✓ Two weekly biogas trainings for 4 weeks
✓ 12 unique modules – separately bookable
Benefit from IBBK’s live trainings without leaving your home (or office)

Language: ENGLISH

IBBK’s flagship training “proBIOGAS International” is now modular!

Due to popular demand, our flagship online biogas training is now modular.

Especially since a large part of the world is in a “lockdown-mode” and it’s very hard to travel internationally right now, it’s more challenging to bring people together for a common goal.

And instead of meeting in a class room this Spring, we’ll conduct everything online!

What’s more, we’ve now (for the first time), split this event into 12 unique modules.

And you can book every module individually, according to your needs and interests.

That means you can either “pick and choose” from the available modules, as if you’re on a “all you can eat” buffet…

Or you book the entire training for a big discount, saving 60%+ compared to the individual modules.

What’s more, there will only be two days of biogas training per week, Tuesday and Thursday.

This way, you don’t have to dedicate an entire week to it, but can still stay on top of your other responsibilities.

You’ll get the in-depth experience of our live biogas trainings combined with the ease of attending an event from the comfort of your home.

We’ll conduct this event August 31st – September 9th, and it’s divided into 5 days of presentations and workshops during week 1… and 3 days of personalized Q&A sessions during week 2.

We have support and endorsement by the University of Hohenheim, one of the world’s most renowned agricultural and biogas research institutes.

There are individual themes for each day – and here’s what you can expect:

A 5-day online biogas training that features the same presentations our live training does in the first week…

Plus an additional 3 days for Q&A sessions in the second week. During these sessions, each participant gets at least 1h for their specific question.

We know that only follow-up questions and further discussions establish a deep understanding of a specific subject – which is why it was very important to us to include that aspect into this online event.

Here’s the program overview of this online biogas training (subject to change):

“Best Online Training I’ve been to”

Thanks a lot! You guys are amazing. The organizing, the execution was all perfect.

Without a doubt the best online training I’ve done. All the best and hope to meet you in March next year.

– Owino, Kenya

A Live Event

To be completely clear with you: this is a live, interactive video training. You could call it a webinar, but this training is much more interactive.

Your voice matters, and you can join the conversation with your comments and questions directly after a presentation.

Plus: after the end of this training, you’ll get access to the recordings of your module so you can re-watch or re-listen to the entire event on demand. Whenever you want, wherever you want.

You’ll also get access to all presentations that were held during this online training as a downloadable file so you never miss any details.

For this online training, we’ve assembled a wide variety of different speakers that will present the subjects in the live video call, and they’re all available for Q&A sessions after their presentation.  Here’s a list of the presenters:

  • Michael Köttner, Senior Biogas Expert, IBBK
  • Katrin Kayser, Senior Biogas Expert, IBBK
  • Philipp Röhrer, Gas Analysis Expert and Sales Manager, Awite
  • Birgit Pfeifer, Senior Biogas Plant Biology and Process Control Expert, Schaumann Bioenergy Consult
  • Gunther Pesta, Substrate and Feedstock Testing Expert, CEO, Atres-Group
  • Erwin Köberle, Biogas Plant Operation and Building Material Expert, Biogaskontor Köberle GmbH
  • Robert Didiodato, Anessa Biogas Software
  • Kai Rostalski, Senior Mixing and Stirring Expert, CEO PTM GmbH
  • Bernhard Natterer, Plant Design and Waste Fermentation Expert, Plant Engineer, FiTec GmbH
  • Torsten Haug, Biogas Measurement and Upgrading Expert, Union Instruments GmbH

This online training is based on our flagship live training – but you’ll save a lot of time and money you’d otherwise have to spend on travel and accommodation.

And you can join us from the comfort of your home (or your office) in August and September.

Save 2,000 € to 4,000 € in Travel & Accommodation Costs

If you would attend one of our live trainings, you can expect between 2,000 € and 4,000 € for flight, travel and accommodation (and for those that can afford it and have the time, it’s a sometimes once-in-a-lifetime experience).

But: if you have trouble finding the time and funds to invest, this online training is a much more time-efficient and affordable solution for you.

And to make sure your specific questions are addressed, there’s always ample time for questions after each presentation and module.

Now, I know we offer a general biogas online training already. But this is better suited for beginners and a more general training. And we’ll not cover all intricacies and details that we’re able to cover during this live online training.

For each module, we’ll dive deep into a different subject and focus on it for 2 to  3 hours.

Plus: you get to ask your questions live to our diverse group of biogas experts.

To attend the online training, you don’t need a webcam (or show your face) if you don’t want to. All you need is a stable internet connection and either a smartphone, a PC or a phone to dial in.

And once you sign up, we will send you all the details via email, showing you how to connect with an easy, step-by-step instruction.

To make sure that the flow is interesting and interactive at all times, we’ll also break up each presentation into smaller segments with multiple breaks in between – so you can grab a drink and stretch your legs 🙂

This online training is inspired by our flagship, 7-day program that we conduct bi-annually, together with our partner, the University of Hohenheim. And you can now attend it from the comfort of your own home (or office)…

Without the expenses and the hassle that’s involved in traveling to a foreign place.

Just click the button below to book your seat now.

Participation fee:

Price for all 8 days of live online training: 1390 € + VAT

Registration closed now – Event already started.

Here's what you'll get:

  • Insight into the world of biogas from the perspective of the country with the longest biogas history – Germany
  • Access to all presentations through a shared folder
  • Access to hundreds of pages of additional biogas literature through the shared folder
  • Recordings of each session you attended for you to review, play back and take notes, in case you missed a specific lecture or subject
  • Exclusive insight into the most advanced biogas technologies
  • Your own, personalized and signed participation certificate

And while theoretically, the number of participants that could attend this online training is unlimited, we’ll put a hard stop at a certain number and limit participants.

This ensures you get to ask your question and you take full advantage of your 1h of Q&A during week 2.

To reserve your seat in this online training, simply click the button below and complete the steps.

If you have any further questions, don’t hesitate to get in touch with us directly either via email under or give us a call between 9 AM and 5 PM CEST under +49 (0) 7954 926 203

Hope to see you in the online training this August and September.
