5th IBBK Biogas Training in South Africa!
This three day event with two days of lectures, presentations and exercises as well as one full day of biogas plant visits is catered directly to the biogas scene in South Africa and Africa.
South African and German speakers enable the worldwide know-how transfer through lectures.
All lecturers are multi-year biogas experts with a lot of practical experience from the field.

This 8-day online training is based on IBBK‘s premium course, taking it online.

Developed in close cooperation with the State Institute of Agricultural Engineering and Bioenergy of the University of Hohenheim, this event bridges scientific research results with practical knowledge.

1st NORTH AMERICAN ONLINE BIOGAS TRAINING
BIOGAS #HANDS ON
This 5-day online training is dedicated to all biogas professionals in North America.
Long year international biogas experts will facilitate the worldwide know-how transfer through lectures, workshops and personalized Q&A sessions.
During this training, we’ll dive deep on:
- Status quo and perspectives for biogas in North America compared to Europe
- Engineering parameters
- Biogas plant process control and optimization
- Day to day biogas plant operation
- Biogas desulphurization
- What’s working now and is being developed in North America – presentation of different case studies

Facilitated through our organizing partner, the State Institute of Agricultural Engineering and Bioenergy of the University of Hohenheim, this event bridges scientific research results with practical knowledge.
The integrated lab session as well as the visits to four unique biogas plant operations in Southern Germany complement the facts with practical insights into plant operation.

Progress in Biogas V
International Conference with Company Exhibition & Workshops
For the fifth installation of our conference series “Progress in Biogas”, we’re back at the University of Hohenheim in Stuttgart.
And with “Science meets Practice” as our motto, we once again invite you as researchers and practitioners to present your breakthrough results, best practice examples and experiences from the field.
Call for Papers started on January 7th – submit your abstract until the end of April and get international recognition in one of the most established biogas conference worldwide.
